Public Results Archive
Public competition data, corrections and take-down requests
Wushu.SG maintains a public results archive for informational, historical and community reference. This page explains the nature of the data we display, the public sources we rely on, the limits we observe, and how to ask us to review a correction or take-down request.
Data Sources
The data displayed on Wushu.SG consists only of publicly available Wushu competition results compiled from publicly accessible competition and federation sources. These include the International Wushu Federation, National School Games Singapore, and the Singapore Wushu Dragon & Lion Dance Federation websites, together with related public result documents made available by those organisers or bodies.
The information we publish is intended to reflect competition records that were already available to the public. In practice, this usually means athlete names, represented school or organisation names, event categories, dates, rankings, scores, medals or result outcomes where they appeared in public result sheets. We do not treat Wushu.SG as the original authority for those results. Where possible, our archive is structured so entries can be traced back to the public source material from which the information was compiled.
Purpose Of The Archive
Our purpose is to maintain a public results archive for informational, historical and community reference. Wushu results are often spread across many files, years, competition formats and organiser websites. Wushu.SG tries to make those public records easier to search, compare and understand, especially for athletes, parents, coaches, schools, clubs and members of the Singapore Wushu community.
This archive helps preserve the sporting history of local and international Wushu participation. It also helps reduce confusion caused by fragmented records, duplicate names, inconsistent event labels and changing organisation names. Our data cleaning work is intended to improve readability while preserving the underlying public competition record.
Privacy And PDPA Considerations
We are mindful of personal data protection obligations, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore, and we take those obligations seriously. We have taken care to display only competition information that is already publicly available from the public sources mentioned above.
We do not collect, publish or display private contact details such as phone numbers, personal email addresses, residential addresses, identity numbers or private account details of any individual as part of the public results archive. The archive is not intended to expose private information, create a private profile, or publish details beyond what was already included in publicly accessible competition results.
Some competition result records may include names of minors because school and youth competitions are often published by official or organiser sources. We understand that these records can still raise concerns even when the underlying result sheet is public. For that reason, we provide a review process for correction, amendment and take-down requests.
Accuracy And Data Cleaning
Public result documents are not always consistent. Names may be presented in different orders, schools may change, clubs may be abbreviated, event names may contain codes, and result sheets may use different naming conventions from year to year. We may clean, normalise or map parts of the data so that the website is easier to read.
Normalisation does not mean we are changing the original public source. It means we are presenting a clearer display name on the website while retaining the goal of representing the public result accurately. If you believe that a name, result, club, school, event, ranking or source association is wrong, please send us the specific entry and enough detail for us to review it.
Correction And Take-Down Review
We respect concerns about public competition records. If you have a correction or take-down request, please let us know the specific entry or entries involved. This is important because we cannot reliably review a broad or general request without knowing exactly which profile, competition, result, club page or event row you are referring to.
Where appropriate, we may amend a display name, correct a result, remove a duplicate, unlink a wrongly merged profile, hide a specific entry, or remove content from public view. We will consider the nature of the public source, the accuracy of the archive, the purpose of historical sporting records, and the specific concern raised.
As this is an unmonitored email workflow, please use the request form on this page or the same website feedback button you used to contact us. That helps route the request into our admin inbox with the page context and keeps the review process organised.
